Family fun begins at Sundance Meadows! No matter your age or interests, the Ranch has something for you. Choose between staying in one of our log houses or RV camping and enjoy all that Central Oregon has to offer. Whether you choose to spend your days outdoors exploring and adventuring, taking part in social activities at the Rec Hall, or simply relaxing in the shade with a good book, Sundance Meadows is your place for the best family vacation in Oregon.

Stay

The facilities at Sundance Meadows provide a variety of accommodation options for every type of vacationer. Here you’ll find the Lodge (a rustic log building with 4 sleeping rooms, community kitchen, great room, and laundry facilities), our Bunkhouse (with 11 sleep rooms, kitchen, great room and laundry), and a 66 site (50/30 amp electric, water, and sewer) RV campground surrounding a lake. We also have a spacious 4,000 square foot Rec Hall which is a great place to enjoy games, pool, ping pong, foosball, live entertainment, potlucks, and BBQs.

Experience

Sundance Meadows is a year-round facility so owners may celebrate Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s on the Ranch.

During the summer months, bring your ATV’s out and buzz around the outskirts of the community areas for a day of exploring. We back-up to BLM land with miles of trails. You can hike on 920+ acres of beautiful, quiet land, full of local vegetation and wildlife or enjoy a cool soak at the pool or the warmth of the sauna at the indoor pool area. Take time to enjoy a game of Miniature Golf or Disc-Golf on our courses.

The winter months are a great time to take advantage of the first-class skiing at nearby Mt. Bachelor and snowmobile areas. We are also in the winter range for mule deer and it is especially interesting when walking throughout our juniper stands and fields to spot deer, coyotes, and a host of raptors and other wildlife. It is a great treat to gaze from the window by a blazing fireplace and behold the abundance of creatures fearlessly foraging about the grounds.

We are nestled in the heart of Central Oregon’s magnificent recreation and ranching country, meaning hiking, golf, hunting, fishing, geocaching, mountain biking, ATV riding, skiing and rock climbing are just minutes away. For those less inclined to strenuous activity, there are fine dining restaurants, theaters, and clubs just 8 miles away in Bend, the hub of Central Oregon.

Get Active

Fill your days with endless fun while partaking in the many activities available on the Ranch, including an indoor pool and sauna, fishing (catch and release only), ATV riding on hundreds of miles of BLM trails that back up to the Ranch, mini golf, remote control track and disc golf course. We also have a stable for use by our Owners when they visit. There truly is something for everyone. 

 
 

At Sundance Meadows you are part of a community of people who have a great place to stay, make new friends, visit family, or take a vacation.

Along with any ownership, there comes responsibility. Paying dues and assessments so the Ranch can be successful and take care of much needed maintenance is the biggest priority.

VOLUNTEER! Ask any board member or Camp Host what can be done to help maintain and beautify Sundance Meadows. Treat the ranch as you would your own home. We keep costs down by relying on owners to clean up after themselves and to help “around the house” with housekeeping duties. This is your Ranch, your home away from home.

  • Owners and invited guests may stay at the Ranch. You will have 120 days to use at your discretion, following the rule of up to 30 days on the Ranch, then 7 days off.

  • We are open year-round with limited services during the winter.

  • Reservations may be made only by phone. Call (541) 389-7003.

  • You buy an Ownership into the Ranch. Then you’ll receive a deed to a piece of the Ranch.

  • Call (541) 389-7003 for buy-in price. There are also monthly dues of $53.00. Prices may change.
